Guild Spring Meet Up Report 27 May 2012

Thanks to all that attended the Guild Spring meet up today at Kensworth Studios.

A small but an extremely fun group of members. The weather was a complete contrast to the previous meeting and the sun was blazing down. First to arrive was local member Chris Drury who immediately got working and set up his lights and equipment in anticipation of a photoshoot! With Silvee preparing the food and drink, others slowly arrived after negotiating the very strict security guard in attendance on the gate! I think membership cards need to be shown at future meetings!

Nice to see some faces of members who hadn't seen the new studios including Gray 'The Mod' Bishop who arrived all the way from High Wycombe on his 1963 Lambretta. Photos here.

Also nice to see Phil from PWP Images who drove all the way up from Portsmouth just to pay his membership fee! Well, probably to have a nose around the studios as well.

With arrival of members Dave and Mel, Chris asked the girls to do a photoshoot with him. Not wishing to let an opportunity go amiss, the two models, Mel and Silvee did a great nude photoshoot in the studio then another nude shoot outside.

Taking advantage of the sunshine while it's here I think! Both models enjoy working together and he even got some of the images of the two them laughing! Chris enjoyed the experience but the girls were a little disappointed as they needed a male model to work with afterwards and in the absence of any, tried to coheres Mike Crawley. He politely declined. Maybe next time Mike!

After a lot of banter, and tea drinking by Colin, time went by very quickly and it was time to go.

It's shame that it was a low attendance on such a fine day. Probably the reason for it though! Don't worry, normal weather will be resumed soon.

The next Meet up is July 22nd. June meeting has been cancelled. Please watch emails or Guild Website for updates if you intend coming along.
